Shalom Alechem,
I am Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman from Migdal HaEmek, and I am reaching out to Klal Yisrael with sadness.
I had a dear talmid, R' Tzion, a leader of the Migdal HaEmek community. Shortly after the engagement of his daughter, his wife noticed that he had not yet risen from bed. She went to wake him and was horrified to discover that he was no longer alive.
The cries of grief from their home quickly spread throughout Migdal HaEmek, filling the city with sorrow. He leaves behind seven married children, the Kallah, and two additional unmarried daughters. His widow, who depended on him entirely, has been left devastated and broken. No words of comfort can ease her shattered heart.
The family lives in a rented apartment and owns no assets — no vehicle, no pension funds, and no financial savings. Here in Migdal HaEmek, everyone is doing their utmost, but this community is far from wealthy. With her husband's passing, the widow is left living in poverty with her young daughters. With the wedding approaching, their situation is dire. They desperately need external support! Extend a helping hand to this destitute Kallah and her devastated family! In the zechut of this great mitzvah, may Hashem shower you and your entire family with bracha!
Thank you,
Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman Chief Rabbi of Migdal HaEmek
