WATCH: Why my father's story put me in jeopardy Despite his hesitation, an Israeli Chosson just got on camera and revealed why his upcoming wedding is in jeopardy, and why his father's background makes a difference. Watch the full video here>> A young man with a closely trimmed beard stands in front of the camera, and introduces himself, "Hello, my name is Shmuel. I grew up in a large family, I am about to get married, and my brother is getting married in two weeks." His father, Michael Gallagher, is originally from Ireland and converted to Judaism over 30 years ago in a quest for the truth. Tragically, Shmuel shared that the fact that his father is a convert makes it harder for them to arrange the wedding, as they have no family to help them.  Both sons are now struggling to arrange and pay for wedding expenses, and they are missing basics. They need help setting up their apartments and covering the costs of the wedding night.  Donate here to help>> When he asks for help, Shmuels voice cracks a little, "Please help us build our Jewish home  We need money for the basic wedding expenses - every cent will help us! I am turning to you, to your heart, whoever can help us should be blessed." His brother Shimon's wedding is this Sunday, and he's still missing basics that he can't get married without.
