| I hope this letter finds you in good health. My name is Rebbetzin R. and my husband, Dovid Yochanan ben Ruchama runs Kollel Ohel Yosef in Yerushalayim. As Rosh Kollel, R' Dovid has dedicated his life to supporting the families of 24 devoted yungeleit. However, we were recently dealt with a heavy blow: My husband has been diagnosed with a brain tumor r''l.
This has profoundly impacted Dovid's ability to lead the kollel as he faces treatment. My husband can't sleep at night with worry. Not for his own life, but for the 24 kollel yungeleit who are depending on him to be able to mefarnes their mishpachahs.
Usually, Dovid would personally take out loans or contact donors to ensure the kollel's stability, but given his current hospitalization and the challenges it presents to his abilities, he's unable to do so.
