To my dear brothers and sisters worldwide,
My name is Sarah*.
I live in Migdal HaEmek, a wonderful and simple community.
My father was part of the woodwork here, as a kashrut supervisor, and senior scholar in Yeshivat Migdal Or, a student of HaRav Yitzchak David Grossman, lbchl"ch.
I got engaged just before Rosh Hashana, and my parents were very excited. Money was tighter than usual because my mother had to stop working last year, but my father promised me in his kind way that I would be married off with everything I needed.
Just a number of days later, my father did not wake up. We are in shock. Our entire community is in shock. He was a righteous and honest man who always sought to bring joy He could not bear to see others in pain.
My bridal happiness turned into guilt and worry. My mother is inconsolable. We needed miracles to make it to my wedding even with the meager income of my father a'h. Now, there is nothing. Even with our simple community doing the most they can, we still need external assistance. To read more about our situation, and the haskama of our rav, Rav Yitzchak David Grossman, click here. Please give generously! My situation is dire! Tizku L'Mitzvot, Sarah*
