Hello, I'm Shulamit From a very young age, I brought myself up. My parents separated when my father became ill. I had no support growing up, and I have no support now either. I lived in a dormitory for years, with amazing friends and mentors but no family - what kept me going was my future home. I used to dream about getting married, building a family with my husband, and having my own safe and warm home. That's why what is happening now hit me so hard. My wedding, set to be on Rosh Chodesh Elul, is about to be canceled. I haven't been able to book wedding halls or invite guests because I can't pay any deposits. It's such a harsh blow and I can't believe it's happening to me now. I so much want to get married and start a new life with my husband, but I can only do that with help.
