Project Manager brings value from:
Focusing on the Customer
-both inside or outside of the company
building a great team
Fostering relationships and communication
Managing the project
-A
successful project manager sees the impacts of each process within the project and communicates
those impacts to the team.
Breaking Down Barriers
-Sometimes, when you ask why something is being done a certain way, the response you get is,
"Because we've always done it this way." A project manager adds value to a project when they break
down barriers, allow their team to innovate new ways to do things, and empower them to share
ideas. As a project manager, you have to model ingenuity and collaboration, and encourage your
team to do the same.
How can you break down barriers on a project? You can provide support for your team as they try
new approaches to find solutions, and you can advocate for additional resources for your team. If
your team is having a hard time getting an answer from another organization, you can reach out to
the organization yourself in order to keep the team on track and on schedule.

Project managers use delegation to add value to their teams and organizations by matching tasks to individuals who can best complete the work.
delegating the task to the person with the right skills
applying the knowledge of your teams strengths to the planning of your project

To all you future project management professionals, today is where you may be able to read some designated learning and what it takes to complete the course for PMP taught by Google teachers themselves in the Coursera program. I only got through the first two weeks so far and I hope to complete the certification in the not too distant future. Let us know what you think if the notes are on par, and if you would like us to continue somehow the course on such a busy schedule. Exhaustion has set in and Im barely able to type this one out, so I just added some note files onto this link and, smooth as ever, Blogger accepts these items and posts them in a ver nice fashion for being able to find these items online. I hope I am not overstepping, however these are my personal notes that I typed while studying the course material through the online teachers.
